HEIDENREICH ESTATE
OUR FAMILY
Heidenreich Vineyards is a family owned business operated by Noel and Cheryl Heidenreich. The original vineyard was first planted in 1936 by Noel’s father, Rufus Heidenreich whose grandfather migrated from Germany in 1866. We commenced producing wine under our own label in 1998 and our production has grown remarkably since then. We have steadily increased our vineyard holdings and our varietal range. The third generation of our family is now involved in continuing the Heidenreich tradition of grape growing and wine making in the the Barossa Valley.
OUR WINES
We produce quality wines under the 'The Old School' label. Over the years we have gained a dedicated following of direct wine buyers and also export to several overseas markets. As small producers we conduct celllar door tastings at the Barossa Small Winemakers Centre at Chateau Tanunda and also host tastings at the Novotel Barossa.
OUR VINEYARDS
Our vineyards and winery are located on the floor of the Barossa Valley where the conditions are perfect for the production of premium Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
As vignerons we grow premium fruit using modern viticulture techniques and careful attention to vineyard irrigation. We pride ourselves on producing premium fruit from which high quality wine is produced.
