Why ‘THE OLD SCHOOL’?

 

Rufus and Mary Heidenreich had 7 children.

Six of these children attended the Vine Vale School for their early schooling.

 

When the school closed in 1985 the original school bell was presented to Rufus Heidenreich.

 

Noel & Cheryl still have this bell.

 

They live in Vine Vale and purchased a vineyard behind the old school, so when wine from this vineyard was produced, a natural choice for naming their label was to acknowledge the old school and their family history with it .
